Jacs Scheinman (he/him)

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist | Co-founder

Hey there! My name is Jacs and I'm a registered dietitian with five years of experience working in intensive outpatient and outpatient levels of care, primarily in eating disorder treatment. I offer compassionate, non-judgmental support and meet you exactly where you are. As a trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming clinician, I specialize in helping folks navigate the complexities of food, eating, and body image.

With lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent (ADHD and Autistic), and epileptic person, I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where everyone feels supported in exploring their relationship with food. I value authenticity, compassion, humor, creativity and justice, and these inform how I show up in my work. Outside of work, I enjoy The New York Times Crossword Puzzle, art projects, coding, spending time with my wife and son and being outside in nature.

That's a glimpse into my journey so far. I'd be honored to hear more about yours.

1:1 Virtual Nutrition Counseling

Personalized nutrition therapy, one session at a time. This is the cornerstone of what I do – working with individuals in a virtual, supportive setting to address their unique nutrition goals and challenges.

"Your life experience shapes your relationship with food. If you’ve dealt with marginalization, medical trauma, or the stress of a “clean plate ranger” childhood, trust me – I’m listening."

“I’ve struggled for years to find a nutrition professional who understands how medical trauma, gender identity, and disability all intersect. Jacs approaches food and body work with so much nuance, care, and actual lived experience—it made all the difference.” -Mo
